The Parish Council is required to have a website accessible for all users and a Website Accessibility Statement by the Public Sector Bodies (Website and Mobile Applications) (No 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018, which came into force in September 2018.

The policy is designed to help Council employees improve unsatisfactory conduct and performance in their job.

This policy is based on and complies with the 2015 ACAS Code of Practice. It also takes account of the ACAS guide on discipline and grievances at work.

The rules and regulations governing Parish Councils, Model Standing Orders are the written rules adopted by Cayton Parish Council to regulate the proceedings of meetings.

Pursuant to section 27 of the Localism Act 2011, Cayton Parish Council has adopted this Code of Conduct, 17th August 2021, to promote and maintain high standards of behaviour by its members and co-opted members whenever they conduct the business of the Council.
